Kory K. Shimek
Kory is the firm’s paralegal, and specializes in bankruptcy, although he does work in Family Law
and Estate Planning as well.
Kory has been with the firm since 2007.
Kory is currently a student at Davenport University, obtaining his degree in Business, with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. Kory plans on attending law school and joining the firm as an attorney once he graduates from college.
Kory grew up in Maple City, MI, and enjoys spending time with his beagle, as well as traveling, being outdoors, and hanging out with friends. Kory is also the nephew of Kurt and Lori Haskell, and is a Notary Public.
Megan E. Bercheni
Secretary / Receptionist
Megan is the firm’s receptionist and secretary and has been with Haskell Law Firm since November, 2009.
Megan is currently a student at Wayne County Community College District, obtaining her Associates degree in Business Administration.
Megan plans on transferring to Eastern Michigan University in Fall 2010 and obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Human Resources.
Megan grew up in Rockwood, MI. In her free time, she enjoys baking/cooking, hair & makeup, shopping, dancing, and spending time with my family and friends. She has 3 dogs, Lily, a golden lab/retriever mix, Strider, a border collie, Paris, a border collie, and 2 turtles, Mercedes and Corona.
