Kory K. Shimek - Paralegal, Law Student
Kory is the firm’s paralegal, and specializes in bankruptcy, although he does work in Family Law and Estate Planning
as well. Kory has been with the firm since 2007.
Kory obtained his bachelor’s degree from Davenport University in Entrepreneurship. Kory is currently attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School and will be joining the firm as an attorney after he graduates in 2013.
Kory grew up in Maple City, MI, and in his free time enjoys traveling, being outdoors, playing basketball and spending time with friends and family.
Kory is also the nephew of Kurt and Lori Haskell, and is a Notary Public.
Megan Bercheni - Legal Assistant, College Student
Megan is the firm’s Legal Assistant and has been with Haskell Law Firm since November 2009.
Megan is currently attending Eastern Michigan University to obtain her Bachelors in Business and Public Administration.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, working-out and spending time with her family and friends.
