Our law firm consists of two senior partners and two associate attorneys. All four attorneys are
members of the State Bar of Michigan, and are sworn in to practice in the Federal Court--Eastern
District of Michigan.
Kurt Haskell and Lori Haskell, the founders of Haskell Law Firm, are a husband/wife team.
They are extremely well-known in the Wayne County Family Courts and the Eastern District of Michigan Bankruptcy Court.
Kurt R. Haskell - Senior Partner
Kurt graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a degree in Pre-Med/Biology, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and
Wayne State University Law School with an LLM in Taxation.
Kurt is a former tax attorney for the Internal Revenue Service and opened Haskell Law Firm in 2001 with his wife, Lori A. Haskell.
Kurt specializes in Family Law, Social Security, Estate Planning and Bankruptcy.
In his spare time, Kurt enjoys traveling, working out, studying economics, spending time with his pets, watching sports (GO TIGERS!), and being outdoors.
Kurt is also one of the founders of Save the Monkeys, a charitable organization founded to help monkeys and other wildlife in the rain forests of Central and South America.
Kurt is currently running for US Congress, 7th District. Please support him in his Congressional run.
Lori A. Haskell - Owner and Senior Partner
Lori graduated from Davenport University with a degree in Business, with an emphasis in Accounting, and Wayne State
University Law School.
Lori is also a family law mediator/arbitrator, and is on the Wayne County approved mediator list after taking extensive formal training in the area.
Lori previously was appointed then elected to the Jefferson School District Board of Education in Monroe, MI, and served on the board for 6 years.
Public education and the futures of the next generation are very important to Lori, which is why she and Kurt started a scholarship at Jefferson High School 7 years ago which is given out every year to a Jefferson High School Senior.
Lori specializes in Family Law.
Lori grew up in Manistee, MI, and enjoys visiting her family there in the summer months. In her spare time, Lori’s passions are photography and travel. She has had her work published in various travel books and guides. Lori also loves living a healthy life, including eating well, working out and running. Lori has completed over 30 races, and has won medals and placed in many races over the past year.
She also loves hiking, being outdoors, animals, and spending time with her friends and family.

Angela J. Ghannam -
Associate Attorney
Angela graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a degree in political science and the University of Detroit
Mercy Law School.
She is a lifetime Wayne County resident.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with her friends and family, shopping, working out, and fashion.
Angela specializes in family law, but has extensive bankruptcy law experience as well.
Lauren E. Gregoricka – Associate Attorney
Lauren graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Architecture and Michigan State University College of
Law.
During her time in law school, Lauren was an active member of the Journal of Animal Law and gained experience interning at the probate court and clerking with various attorneys.
She currently works with the bankruptcy, probate, and Social Security disability cases at Haskell Law Firm.
Lauren grew up in Owosso, MI and she enjoys sports, puppies, and hanging out with her friends and family, especially up north at Higgins Lake.
She is an avid University of Michigan football and basketball fan and likes to challenge herself by competing in races. She most recently ran the Grand Rapids Riverbank 25K Run and is now training for a triathlon!
